Opinion on the Da Vinci Code book?

okay, so i just finished reading the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. I thought it was awesome and very well written. (i'm now about 1/4 of the way through Angels&Demons) i was talking to a friend on the phone the other day and we started talking about the books we were reading. when i tolder i was reading the Da Vinci Code she said, "i heard it was really anti-christian. don't you believe in god anymore?" in an offended way, and i really didn't have anything to say. im not very religious, but i do believe in god, and wasnt offended by it at all. do you think that the book was anti-christian? did you like it? i want to know what your opinion is because none of my other friends have read it. :) thanks.
