Protestants: do you consider yourselves a Catholic sect since your leaders split from Catholicism?

Protestants don't generally consider themselves "Catholic," though they do consider themselves as belonging to an invisible, catholic (lowercase "c") church, the true church of the believers. I feel I belong to the catholic church.
