Power showers and combi boilers?

My old boiler has given up the ghost, and I am now having a combi boiler installed. The man who is doing the job thinks that my power shower - which I LOVE - is not going to work on the new system. (The old boiler heated a hot-water tank.) Any advice would be much appreciated!
