Need help for scarlet letter!!?

I am a little confused with the story at the end hester and dimmsedale said that they wanted to move out from new england and start a new life but then what happens?? i have been searching for conclusions and i just read that dimmsedale went to confes his sin and then he dies and then hester comes to visit his tomb and then she dies and she is burried next to dimmsedale with an "a" in the tomb... I am confused because I read somthing different here other thing much different there so please help! >_<
