My friend is so upset with the person who has spread false rumours about her. Any ideas for revenge?

I was going to suggest that she sends her some week-old sardines, wrapped up to look like a surprise gift. My friend is a lovely person who just hasn't deserved the lies and false allegations spread around about her. What can we do for payback? Nothing illegal, please!!!!
