I can't tell if a girl in my grade likes me (8th grade)?

Like, I really like her, a lot. And whenever she looks at me and I catch her, she will look away. She always kicks me and says I hate you. But half the time when she says that she is laughing. I can even get close to her and she won't move. However, her friend says that she doesn't like the kind of people in my clique ( biker ) wile they are preps. She sHe that whenever they go to the mall she points out all the hot preppy guys. I went out with the girl whotold me that though and I don't k ow if she is just tryig to protect her friend. Please help, I like her....ALOT.
