How do I "do it" with out making her feel weird????

ask her if its (insert any random name){example: hey is this rebecca?} and then if she says no then say your sorry and put a smiley face and say something after. i think its so cute when a guy seems confused because it lets me know thay they DONT know everything abut girls, and its very attractive.
