How can you watch the CW show "Life Unexpected"?

I have only seen the many promos while watching "Judge Judy" but here are my observations. 1) The daughter looks older than her Mom 2) The daughter seems to be an annoying, ungrateful wench and 3) how look can they keep up this flimsy premise? Am I preaching to a basically UK crowd here who has no idea what I'm talking about?
